Our Psychological Counselling Centre is committed to providing professional guidance, emotional support, counselling, and assistance to help individuals move toward a healthier and more positive path in life. Our services are intended to support clients but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
2. Emergency & Suicide-Related Situations
If a client is experiencing suicidal thoughts, has attempted suicide, is at immediate risk of self-harm, or is facing any life-threatening emergency, they must seek immediate emergency assistance from the appropriate emergency services, hospital, or qualified crisis professional.
Our Centre's counselling services are not a substitute for emergency medical or crisis intervention services.
3. Suicide Attempt & Centre Responsibility Disclaimer
If a client attempts suicide or self-harm during or after receiving services from our Centre, the Centre cannot guarantee the prevention of such actions. The client and/or their legal guardian acknowledge that counselling and psychological support do not guarantee specific outcomes.
The Centre, its psychologists, counsellors, therapists, employees, and management shall not be held responsible or liable for a client's independent act of suicide or attempted suicide, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. This clause does not exclude any legal or professional responsibility that cannot legally be waived.
In the event of an immediate risk of suicide or self-harm, the client or their family/legal guardian must immediately contact local emergency services, visit the nearest hospital, or seek urgent professional assistance.
4. No Guarantee of Prevention
While our professionals will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate counselling, guidance, support, and referrals where necessary, the Centre cannot guarantee the prevention of suicide, self-harm, suicide attempts, or any other harmful action.
5. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Centre and its professionals shall not be held responsible for a client's independent actions, decisions, self-harm, suicide attempt, or suicide. However, this does not exclude any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
6. Client Responsibility
Clients are encouraged to provide accurate information about their emotional and psychological condition and to follow professional recommendations. If a client feels that they or someone else is in immediate danger, emergency assistance should be contacted immediately.
7. Our Commitment
Our Centre is committed to providing services with care, professionalism, respect, confidentiality, and ethical responsibility. Our goal is to guide and support clients toward appropriate care and a safer, healthier path.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, booking an appointment, or participating in counselling, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
